The AP-1200 can be transported as a 10-foot (3.0-5 meter) load if any screed extensions are either removed or retracted within the main screed and the screed end gates are removed. Before loading the machine onto a trailer, remove the grade control sensors and mounts and store them in the boxes provided. Also raise the screed and insert the screed lift safety links. After the machine is on the trailer, lower the screed onto blocks, install the console covers and tape the engine exhaust stack opening. If desired, the muffler may be removed. Block the tires and securely tie the machine down.
