PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Refer to appropriate Service Manual as necessary. Follow all safety precautions.
1. Remove 5K-9267 Clips and 198-4777 Washer (Image 1.1.1 - Items 1) and keep for reuse.
2. Remove 6V-9170 Nut (Image 1.1.1 - Item 2) and keep for reuse.
3) Remove 261-6045 Tube (Image 1.1.1 - Item 3).

4) Install 8T-1889 and 8T-1890 Clips, 8T-4121 Washer, and 8T-4136 Bolt (Image 1.2.1 - Item 4).

5) Remove 148-8317 Connector (Image 1.3.1 - Item 5) and replace it with a 6V-8637 Connector and 3D-2824 Seal. Tighten to a torque of 190 Nm.

6) Insert 333-3663 Tube (Image 1.4.1 - Item 6) into plate (Image 1.4.1 - Item 9).
7) Insert 6V-9746 Seal into tube (Image 1.4.1 - Item 7). Connect the tube to the bottom tube and tighten to a torque of 125 Nm.

8) Install the removed 198-4777 Washer between the two removed 5K-2697 Clips. Maintain them with an 8T-4186 Bolt, two 8T-4121 Washers, and an 8T-4133 Nut (Image 1.4.1 - Item 8) (Image 1.5.1).

9) Install 6V-9170 Nut and tighten to a torque of 61 Nm (Image 1.4.1 - Item 9).
10) Install 7J-9108 Seal on tube and tighten the hose to a torque of 86 Nm (Image 1.4.1 - Item 9).
11) Install 6V-9746 Seal on connector. Install 216-1640 Hose parallel to the frame and tighten the hose nut to a torque of 125 Nm (Image 1.7.1 - Item 11).

12) Install 6V-9746 Seal on tube (Item 12). Install 216-1640 Hose on tube and tighten the hose nut to a torque of 125 Nm (Image 1.8.1 - Item 12).
