Lubricate O-ring seal (18) lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed. Install backup ring (17) and O-ring seal (18) to cylinder head (4).

Lubricate seal (14) and U-cup seal (15) lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed. Install wear rings (13), seal (14), U cup seal (15), and wiper seal (16) from cylinder head (4).

Attach Tooling (A) to cylinder head (4) and suitable lifting device to support cylinder head (4). Refer to Table 2 for the weight information of cylinder head (4). Attach a suitable lifting device to support rod (5). Refer to Table 3 for the weight information of rod (5). Slide cylinder head (4) onto rod (5).

Install washers (2) and bolts (1). Refer to Table 5 for the torque information of bolts (1) .
