Excavators ( 51U2832-Up, 76U1317-Up, 61X381-Up)Description of Change: A check valve lines group is now available to permit field installation of a load check valve in the stick circuit on the above 225 Excavators. Some customers have had problems with stick drift, especially in job applications where heavy loads must be lifted with the stick nearly or completely extended. In this type of job application, a high drift rate is caused by leakage of oil around the stem in the control valve. Installation of the new lines group with a load check valve connected between the control valve and the stick cylinder will prevent this leakage and keep the drift rate to a minimum.Adaptable To: The new 7V4385 Check Valve Lines Group (Stick) is adaptable to 225 Excavators 51U2832-Up, 76U1317-Up, and 61X381-Up. Special Instruction Form SMHS7682 is sent with each group for installation.
