Forward/Backward Handle (1) - Lift the handle, slide the seat to the required position and release. Armrest Angle (2) - Located on the front underside of the armrest. Rotate the adjuster to position the armrest at the required angle. Backrest Angle (3) - The backrest can be set at one of three different angles. Press the lever down, push the backrest to the required angle and release. Cushion Height/Angle Handle (4) - The front of the cushion can be set in one of four positions, and the rear at one of three positions to vary the cushion height and angle.To position the front, lift the handle, set the cushion at the required notch in the frame and release the handle. To position the rear, push the entire cushion rearwards and set into the required notch in the frame. Suspension Adjustment Lever (5) and Indicator (6) - The suspension must be set with the operator seated. Indicator (6) should be flush with the front of the seat frame.If it is forward of the seat frame, pull out the handle of lever (5) and turn it until the minus sign (-) is uppermost. Operate the lever with a pumping action until the indicator is flush with the seat frame.If the indicator is to the rear of the seat frame, pull out the handle of lever (5) and turn it until the plus sign (+) is uppermost. Operate the lever with a pumping action until the indicator is flush with the seat frame. Return the lever handle to the mid position.After adjustment ensure all seat controls are locked to prevent unexpected movement.Seat Belt
Always check the condition of the seat belt, fittings and mounting hardware before operating the machine.Replace the belt if the webbing is damaged, worn or frayed, or if any of the buckles or anti creep slides are damaged.Inspect the belt mounting hardware. Replace any worn or damaged hardware. Ensure the mounting bolts are correctly tightened.Replace the seat belt at least once every three years, regardless of appearance.Adjustment
The seat belt is equipped with an automatic locking retractor. This retractor will lock if the belt is pulled or jerked when extended.To Fasten the Seat Belt
Pull the belt (1) out of the retractor in a continuous movement.Push the tongue (2) into the buckle (3). Ensure that the buckle snaps firmly shut, locking the tongue in position. Check that the belt is positioned low across the lap/mid section of the operator.The retractor will adjust the belt length and lock in place.To Release the Seat Belt
Push the release button on the buckle to release the seat belt. The retractor will automatically rewind the seat belt.
If seat belt extensions are installed on retractable type seat belts, the belt lock up mechanism may not operate correctly. This could result in personal injury or death. Do not install extensions on retractable type seat belts.
If a retractable type seat belt is found to be too short, do not install extensions. The belt must be replaced with
