4. Disconnect lines (1), (2), and (3) from the restrictor valve.5. Disconnect four hydraulic lines from the steering valve.6. Remove linkage pin from steering valve stem. Avoid turning linkage adjustment.7. Remove bolts securing steering control valve mounting bracket.8. Attach hoist and lower valve assembly and mounting bracket out of the bottom of machine-weight 140 lbs. (63 kg).Install Steering Control Valve
1. Position steering control valve assembly and mounting bracket under machine. Attach hoist and raise valve into position.2. Install mounting bolts.3. Connect lines to the steering control valve.4. Connect lines to the restrictor valve.5. Install floor plates.6. Install brake pedal.7. Fill hydraulic tank to specified level.8. Connect linkage to steering control valve stem and adjust as outlined in steering system in TESTING AND ADJUSTING Section.Disassemble Steering Control Valve
preparatory step:a) remove steering control valve 1. Remove restrictor valve from steering control valve.2. Remove valve from mounting bracket. 3. Remove cover (1), shims, spacer, spring, and pilot valve.4. Remove pilot body (2).5. Disconnect line and remove cap (3).6. Separate unloading and relief valve body (7) from directional control valve body (9).7. Remove relief valve (5) and dump valve (6).8. Remove unloading valve cap (4), spacers, and springs.9. Remove unloading valve (8). 10. Remove covers (10) and (12).11. Before removing spool (11), remove bolt, retainers, springs, and shims.12. Remove directional control spool (11).13. Remove cover (13).14. Remove plug (14) using 3/8" - 16NC forged eyebolt.15. Remove check valve (15).Assemble Steering Control Valve
1. Install check valve in body.2. Install spring, plug, and cover.3. Install directional control valve spool into valve body.4. Install spring, retainers, spacer, approximately four shims and bolt.5. Install directional control spool covers.6. Install unloading valve in body.7. Install approximately ten shims, springs, and cover on unloading valve.8. Position unloading and relief valve body directional control valve on body and install relief and dump valves.9. Install spring and cap over dump valve and connect line. Tighten bolts to 47 2 lb. ft. (6,5 0,3 mkg).10. Install pilot relief valve, spring, spacer, shims, and cover on body. Tighten bolts to 21 2 lb. ft. (2,9 0,3 mkg).11. Install spring pilot body. Tighten bolts to 47 2 lb. ft. (6,5 0,3 mkg).12. Attach valve to mounting bracket and install restrictor valve.concluding step:a) install steering control valve
