Verifying CMR Corrections
The MS990 receivers have a radio LED. If the LED flashes yellow every second, then the satellite receiver group is receiving CMRs. The MS990 receiver contains three LEDs and the radio LED is located in the middle.In verifying CMR corrections, perform the following procedure:
Open the "Device Status" page.
Verify the CMR availability in the "GPS Corrections" section.A value of "1.00" indicates 100 percent availability.Verify Access to the Web Interface from a Remote Computer
The procedure for a validation requires the use of a second laptop computer or a desktop computer as well as a second person. This second computer is likely to be located in the office at the job site.Perform the following procedure in order to verify that the web interface of the RIM Client can be accessed over the radio network of the job site:
Open a web browser on the second laptop computer or on a desktop computer that is connected to the WLAN.Note: Ensure that the laptop computer or the desktop computer is on the same network as the RIM Client. Refer to the section for configuring "TCP/IP Configuration" under Systems Operation, "Computer Setup" for the IP address of the RIM Client that was assigned for access to the WLAN.
Type "http://(RIM Client address):3875/" in the address field of the web browser.The "Main Menu" screen will appear.If the "Main Menu" screen appears, this is a positive validation for accessing the web interface over the WLAN.If the RIM Client does not connect to the WLAN, the "Main Menu" screen will not appear.
