2. Remove the bolts that hold elbows (1) and (2) to the implement and steering pump. 3. Fasten a hoist to steering and implement pump (4). Remove two nuts (3) and washers. Remove the steering and implement pump. Weight is 99 lb. (45 kg).Install Implement And Steering Pump
1. Be sure O-ring seal (2) is in place on the pump.2. Put implement and steering pump (1) in position on the transfer gears with the splines on the pump shaft in alignment with the splines in the transfer gears. Install the washers and nuts that hold the pump in place. 3. Install the bolts that hold elbows (4) and (3) to the pump.4. Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level.Disassemble Implement And Steering Pump
start by:a) remove implement and steering pump 1. Remove O-ring seal (1) from the pump.2. Remove bolts (2) and seal carrier (3) from the pump. 3. Remove two seals and spacer from seal carrier (3). Remove O-ring seal (4) from the carrier.4. Put identification on the pump so it will be assembled correctly. 5. Remove nuts (5) and cover (6) from the pump. Remove the O-ring seal from the cover. 6. Remove isolation plate (7), retainer (8), sealing strip (9), back-up ring (10) and the pressure plate. Put identification on the pressure plate for assembly purpose. 7. Put identification on gear (12) so it will be installed in its original position. Remove gears (11) and (12) from the pump. 8. Remove pressure plate (13), isolation plate (15), back-up ring (14), sealing strip (16) and retainer (17) from the pump. Put identification on the pressure plate for assembly purposes. 9. Remove section (18) for the implement pump from the steering pump. 10. Remove O-ring seals (19) from around the eight studs. Remove O-ring seal (20) and coupling (21) from the housing. Later pumps do not have O-rings seals (19) around the studs. 11. Remove housing (22) from the steering pump.
STUDS REMOVED FOR PHOTO ILLUSTRATION12. Remove isolation plate (23), back-up ring (24), sealing strip (25) and retainer (26) from the top of the steering pump. 13. Remove pressure plate (29) from the top of the steering pump gears.14. Put identification on pressure plate (29) and gear (27) so they will be assembled in their original positions.15. Remove gears (27) and (28) for the steering pump. 16. Remove pressure plate (30), retainer, sealing strip, back-up ring and isolation plate from the bottom of the steering pump. Put identification on pressure plate (30) for assembly purpose.Assemble Implement And Steering Pump
1. Put clean oil on all pump parts before assembly. Install the aluminum isolation plate (1) in the bottom of the steering pump next to the inlet passage of the pump. Install the white back-up ring (2) next to the isolation plate. Install the black sealing strip (3) next to the back-up ring. Install the white retainer (5) next to the outlet passage of the pump. Install pressure plate (4) with the bronze side toward the pump gears and
