Release the hydraulic system pressure.
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.

Typical Example
Install Tooling (A) onto the hydraulic tank . Attach an air supply hose onto Tooling (A). Apply 276 414 kPa (40 60 psi). This procedure will pull a vacuum on the hydraulic system.

Remove bolts (2) and covers (1).

Disconnect hose assemblies (6). Disconnect fitting (7). Disconnect hose assemblies (3). Remove fittings (5). Remove bolts (4).

Remove bolts (9) and platform assembly (8).

Disconnect hose assemblies (10). Remove the bolts from bracket (11). Reposition bracket (11) out of the way.

If necessary, use Tooling (B) to secure the hose assemblies out of the way. Disconnect the hose assembly and remove fitting (12). Remove support (17). Loosen clamp (13). Remove bolts (14), retainer (15), and boot (16).

Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to swivel (18). The weight of swivel (18) is approximately 102 kg (225 lb). Remove swivel (18).Installation Procedure
Install swivel (18) in the reverse order of removal.
