Pressure Reducing Valve Setting
1800 150 kPa (260 20 psi) Introduction
The pressure reducing valve is used to regulate the pressure of the hydraulic oil that is used for the auxiliary supply of pilot oil. The auxiliary supply of pilot oil is used to lower the work tools to the ground when the engine is not running. The oil is supplied from the lift hydraulic circuit. Oil flows from the lift cylinder through the check valves to the pressure reducing valve. From the check valve, oil flows to a resolver and then to the actuators on the main implement valve.Required Tools

Prepare the machine for testing by completing the procedure that is specified in the Service Manual module Testing and Adjusting, "Machine Preparation for Troubleshooting" for the machine that is being serviced.
Lower the work tool to the ground and perform the Testing and Adjusting, "System Pressure - Release" procedure.

Locate the pilot valve group manifold (1) on the left side of the implement valve. Remove plug (2), and install test port fitting (F). Test Procedure
Connect test tooling (A) to test port (F) previously installed during the Test Preparation.
Connect the steering frame lock.
Engage the parking brake.
Shift the transmission to neutral.
Start the engine. Warm the hydraulic oil to normal operating temperature of approximately 49 °C (120 °F).
Raise the blade approximately 0.9 m (3 ft) off the ground.
Shut off the engine.
Turn the engine start switch to the ON position.
Observe the pressure reading while the blade is not moving. The oil pressure should be 1800 150 kPa (260 20 psi). If the pressure reading is not within the specification, perform the adjustment procedure.
Proceed to the Adjustment Procedure if the pressure setting is not within the proper range. If the pressure setting is correct, remove the tooling and restore the machine to operating condition. Adjustment Procedure

Loosen locknut (3).
Turn adjusting screw (4) clockwise in order to increase the pressure setting. Turn adjusting screw (4) counterclockwise in order to decrease the pressure setting.
