Machine Preparation
Clear all personnel from the machine and from the area around the machine.
Start the engine.

Engine speed dial
Set the engine speed dial at "10".
Lower the left console.
Position the machine on level ground. Check the visibility and adjust the mirrors for the best vision close to the machine.
Fully depress the service brake pedal until the service brake pedal locks mechanically.
Increase the hydraulic oil temperature to 46° to 60° C (115° to 140° F).
Lower the stabilizers and the blade tip.
Fully extend the bucket cylinder and place the bucket on the ground.
Stop the engine.
Release the pressure in the hydraulic system.Note: Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "System Pressure - Release".
Raise the left console.

Load sensing signal pressure tap is located behind the left rear access door.
Connect tooling (B2) 60,000 kPa (8,702 psi) pressure sensor to main pump pressure tap.Temporary Setting of the Main Relief Valve

Loosen locknut (7) on load sensing signal limiter valve (2).
Turn the adjustment screw (6) of load sensing signal limiter valve (2) clockwise by one half turn.Note: LS cutoff pressure should now be higher than the main relief valve pressure.
While adjustment screw (6) of load sensing signal limiter valve (2) is being held, tighten locknut (7).
Loosen the locknut on main relief valve (1).
Turn the adjustment screw clockwise on main relief valve (1) by one quarter turn.
While the adjustment screw of main relief valve (1) is being held, tighten the locknut.
Loosen the locknut on line relief valve (3) for the boom head end.
Turn the adjustment screw of line relief valve (3) for the boom head end clockwise by one half turn.Note: The line relief pressure for the boom head end should be higher than pressure of the
