Locations to apply 8T-9013 RTV Sealant (RED) as required prior to assembly (U).When installing the new integral seal, the parts of the seal identified as (V) and (W) in Illustration 3, will stick above the oil pan surface. Do not trim away any of the seal at these points.
Adaptable To: The new components identified in the chart and Illustration 1 are used in: * 7C-8654 Oil Pan Group on the 3516 Machine Engine in 789B Off-Highway Trucks, 994 Wheel Loaders, and 5230 Excavators.* 112-6592 Oil Pan Group on the 3516 Machine Engine in 5230 Excavators.* 119-6297 Oil Pan Group on the 3516 Machine Engine in 793B Off-Highway Trucks, and 994 Wheel Loaders. The new 133-5926 Scavenge Oil Pan (1). 129-8433 Integral Seal (2). 133-5924 Deep Oil Pan Assembly (3) are effective with 3516 (2PK1268, 54Z1151) Engines in the above machines. When used together, the new components are adaptable to all earlier engines.
If machining capabilities are available, former oil pan sections can be modified and reused with the new integral seal. See Guideline For Reusable Parts And Salvage Operations, when announced in Preview.
