PROBLEM
The Propel planetaries, on certain RM500B Rotary Mixers, need to have the oil drained and the correct quantity installed. The current OMM manual has the incorrect oil capacity specified. The rotor brake valve group (440-3490), on these machines, needs to have an adapter orifice installed.

ACTION REQUIRED
Drain the oil from the two front propel planetaries (379-3201) and refill each with 5.4L of oil per the recommended oil type in the latest version of the machine Operation and Maintenance Manual. Drain the oil from the two rear propel planetaries (379-3202) and refill each with 4.0L of oil per the recommended oil type in the latest version of the machine Operation and Maintenance Manual. Change the customers Operation and Maintenance Manual copy for "Capacities (Refill)" chart to reflect the correct capacity for the front and rear propel planetary.
