C - - Specified camshaft lobe lift :
1. For exhaust lobe is 7.707 mm (0.3034 inch).
2. For Inlet lobe is 7.970 mm (0.3138 inch).
Use the following procedure to find the actual lobe lift:
1.Measure the camshaft lobe height (D).
2. Measure the base circle (E).
3. Subtract the base circle measurement in step 2 from the camshaft lobe height in step 1. The difference is the actual lobe lift.
The maximum permissible difference between the actual lobe lift in step 3 and the specified camshaft lobe lift of a new camshaft is 0.10 mm (0.004 inch).
