Location of the Transmission Oil Pump (1) Transmission oil pump.Transmission oil pump (1) is mounted on the transmission cover under the cab.Transmission oil pump (1) is a positive displacement type pump. The one-section gear pump is bolted to the transmission cover. The following pumps are mounted on the transmission oil pump and driven by the transmission oil pump: steering pump, implement pump and brake pump.A pump drive gear that is fastened to the torque converter impeller drives gear (2). Gear (2) is fastened to splined shaft (3). The splined shaft drives the pump.
