Grapple CLOSE (1) - Push the top left switch in order to close the grapple arms (tong). The grapple arms (tong) will close until the switch is released.
Grapple OPEN (2) - Push the bottom left switch in order to open the grapple arms (tong). The grapple arms (tong) will open until the switch is released.

Earlier Models
Automatic Grapple CLOSE (3) - Place switch (3) in the ON position in order to enable the automatic grapple. Push switch (1) momentarily in order to activate the automatic CLOSE feature of the grapple arms (tong). Switch (1) must be pressed for less than a quarter of a second in order to activate the automatic function of the grapple. The grapple arms (tong) will continue to close until the high pressure setting is reached. If the load shifts, the grapple arms (tong) will automatically advance. Push the bottom of the switch (3) in order to deactivate the automatic CLOSE feature of the grapple arms (tong). Note: The functionality of switch (3) has been eliminated on newer models.

Newer Models
Automatic Grapple CLOSE (4) - Press trigger switch (4) twice in order to enable the automatic grapple. Press trigger switch (4) again in order to deactivate the automatic CLOSE feature of the grapple arms (tong).

When the automatic CLOSE function is activated, an indicator light on the dash panel will flash.
