The trip reset feature allows the user to reset the trip parameters.

From the main menu screen, use button 3 and button 4 to scroll through the menu until "Life and Trip Info" is highlighted.
Press "ENTER", button 5, to access the "Life and Trip Info" screen.

To reset the trip parameters, press button 5 under the word "Reset".
To exit, press the "LIST" button, button 2.

You will be asked one last time if you would like to reset the trip parameters. Press button 5 under the word "OK" if you wish to reset the parameters and exit. If you would like to exit without resetting the parameters, press button 2 under the word "Cancel".Logged Diagnostics

From the main menu screen, use button 3 and button 4 to scroll through the menu until "Logged Diagnostics" is highlighted.
Press "ENTER", button 5, to view the diagnostics screen information. Refer to Systems Operation, UENR3959, "Diagnostic Messages" for details about the diagnostic screen.When accessing the logged diagnostics from the main menu, the display controls have the following functionality:
The "LIST" button (button 2) hides the active diagnostic screen and returns to the main menu
The LEFT and RIGHT arrow buttons can be used to cycle through any active diagnostic messages after the currently displayed diagnostic message is acknowledged
The "ENTER" button, button 5, retrieves all diagnostic data from the ECU. Data then becomes available to the user and can be viewed using the LEFT and RIGHT arrow buttonsService Reminders
The service reminder feature on the MECP I allows the user to set engine hour intervals to remind the user that a service is due.

From the main menu, use buttons 3 and 4 to scroll through the menu until "Service Reminders" is highlighted.
Press "ENTER", button 5, to access the "Service Reminders" menu. Refer to Illustration 5.
From the "Service Reminders" screen, use buttons 3 and 4 to either select the service reminder interval feature or the service reminder reset feature.
Press "ENTER", button 5, to be access the desired menu.
For both menus, use buttons 3 and 4 to scroll through the menu until the desired service reminder is highlighted.
Press "ENTER", button 5, to either access the "change interval" menu, or to reset the desired service reminder interval.
Follow the confirmation screen prompts to continue.Over Speed Verify
The feature, "Over Speed Verify", allows the user to perform an over speed verify test to simulate engine over speed situations.
From the main menu, use buttons 3 and 4 to scroll through the menu until "Verify Overspeed" is highlighted.

Press "ENTER", button 5, to view the "Verify Overspeed" screen.
Press "ENTER", button 5, to ready the engine for an over speed verify test.
Press "ENTER", button 5, to take the engine out of over speed verify test mode.
