1. Loosen two nuts (1) from the belt tightener adjustment rod.2. Remove alternator belts (4).3. Remove the bolt and washers from the belt tightener adjustment block (2) and the alternator.4. Remove the bolt, washers and nut (3) from the alternator supporting bracket and the alternator.5. Remove the alternator from the engine support bracket.Install Alternator
1. Put alternator (2) in position on engine support bracket.2. Install the bolt, washers and nut that hold the alternator to the support bracket.3. Put the belt tightener adjustment rod (1) in position to install the bolt and washers to the alternator.4. Install the alternator belt. Make an adjustment to the belts. Deflection (movement) must be 7/8 in. (22.2 mm) under 25 lb. (110 N) force, halfway between pulleys.
