Wire Way Assembly
The wire way assembly provides the means for routing AC input, output power cables, and the control cables. The wiring is installed between the multi-module units and the system cabinet.Assembling System Cabinet Wire Way

Remove wire way, riser, cable duct, and hardware from factory packaging.
Locate the riser assemblies for the system cabinet.
Install the system cabinet input riser by performing the following steps.
Starting at the left rear of the system cabinet top, position the input riser for the MMU to system cabinet over the left most opening. The left rear is the AC input cables and control cables entry point.
Secure the system cabinet input riser using the hardware provided.There are eight 1/4 inch hex head bolts that secure each riser to the system cabinet top. The bolts are inserted through the riser flange into the cabinet top.
Install the system cabinet output riser by performing the following steps.
Place the output riser to the system cabinet to the immediate right of the input riser you previously installed. The entry point for the MMU to system cabinet AC output cables.

Secure the system cabinet output riser using the hardware provided.Refer to Illustration 2.You are now ready to install the MMU cabinet riser assemblies.MMU Cabinet Riser Assembly
The MMU risers require some assembly and adjustment. The adjustment allows you to fit the wire way where height adjustment for leveling the wire way is necessary.

Remove the MMU cable entry plate from the top of the MMU cabinet.
Assemble MMU wire way riser as shown in the following diagram.
Bolt the two lower halves of the MMU riser into position on the MMU cabinet top.

Adjust height and horizontal location to allow the wire way to set flush and level on top of MMU riser. Refer to Illustration 4.
Repeat steps 1 through 4 for each MMU installed in the system.

There is one wire way support bracket per MMU. You need no additional hardware to attach the bracket to the MMU cabinet.
Loosen the skin screws (but do not remove) at either side of the plenum found at the top of the cabinet.

Insert the wire way support bracket between side skin screw head and plenum.

Leave the screws loose enough to adjust the wire way support bracket height as required to help support wire way, then secure.The wire way rests on top of the support bracket. Refer to Illustration 6.Standard Configuration Wire Way
