ACTION REQUIRED
Replace the exhaust thermocouples existing with exhaust thermocouples that have been extended by 35mm between the mounting nut and 90 degree bend. This is to move the thermocouple away from excessive heat to extend the life of the thermocouple grommet and harness.
When the new thermocouples are installed, it is necessary to install new 9X-3402 Connector Sockets in the factory wiring harness mating connectors as well.
Note: The thermocouple MUST be outside of exhaust heat wrap/insulation to prevent excessive heat damage.
