Remove yoke (5) from the front drive shaft. The yoke is a slip fit to the drive shaft. The weight of the yoke is 20 kg (45 lb).

Remove six bolts (7), the washers and the nuts that fasten carrier bearing housing (8) to the front frame.

Install two M12 X 1.75 X 120 MM forcing screws (9) in the threaded holes of carrier bearing housing (8). Tighten the forcing screws evenly in order to free the carrier bearing housing from the front loader frame.

Attach Tooling (B) to carrier bearing housing (8) and to the front drive shaft.
Use Tooling (B) to remove carrier bearing housing (8) from the drive shaft. Use two persons to remove carrier bearing housing (8) from the machine. The weight of the carrier bearing housing is 50 kg (110 lb).

Use Tooling (A) to carefully lower front drive shaft (1) to the ground. The weight of the front drive shaft is 102 kg (225 lb).

Remove six bolts (10), bearing retainer (11) and the bearing spacer from carrier bearing housing (8) .

Remove O-ring seal (12) from carrier bearing housing (8) .

Place carrier bearing housing (8) on wood blocks. Use a hammer and a punch to remove two bearing cups (14) and two bearing cones (15) .
