Description of Change: A new drive shaft is used in the torque converter. The new drive shaft has improved manufacturing processes that increase the service life. The new drive shaft requires a new speed sensor drive shaft on all models that have the electronic speed sensor groups.Adaptable To: The new 243-5637 Shaft is a direct replacement for the former 5S-7935 Shaft on the following models that do not have the electronic governor drive groups: 631C (S/N: 67M), 631D (S/N: 24W), 637 (S/N: 65M; 79P), 637D (S/N: 26W; 27W; 71W), 633C (S/N: 66M) and 657 (S/N: 19G; 53K)657B (S/N: 68K; 47M) and 657E (S/N: 6MB1-84; 86Z1-209).The new 234-4290 Input Shaft replaces the former 5S-7935 Shaft on all models that have the electronic governor drive groups. Use the new 234-4290 Input Shaft and 239-1057 Gear Drive Shaft on 657E (S/N: 6MB85-UP; 6PR; 7KR; 86Z210-UP; 87Z). Use the new 234-4290 Input Shaft and 234-4289 Gear Drive Shaft on the following models: 631E Series II (S/N: 1AB; 1NB; 3ND), 631G (S/N: AWK; CLR), 637E Series II (S/N: 1FB), 637G (S/N: CEH; AXT) and 633E Series II (S/N: 2PS).
