There have been reports of rocker arm inserts failing on certain C9.3 machine engines.Solution
Caterpillar is aware of this problem, but a permanent repair has not been identified. As an interim solution follow the repair instruction given below.If the rocker arm insert has failed, replace the failed rocker arm assembly.Table 1 contains the intake and exhaust rocker arm assembly part numbers.Note: Only replace the failed rocker arm assembly.
