On rare occasions, the duty cycle of the application does not allow the automatic desulfation procedure to complete.A new "Aftertreatment Sulfation Recovery Procedure" has been introduced in version 2017B of Cat® Electronic Technician (Cat ET).The new "Aftertreatment Sulfation Recovery Procedure" clears the sulfur from the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system, clears the diagnostic code, and turns off the warning lamp.Refer to Troubleshooting, Desulfation Is Frequent for information on how to perform the "Aftertreatment Sulfation Recovery Procedure" and clear the 6935-15 diagnostic code.
