Personal injury can result from air pressure.Personal injury can result without following proper procedure. When using pressure air, wear a protective face shield and protective clothing.Maximum air pressure at the nozzle must be less than 205 kPa (30 psi) for cleaning purposes.
Park the machine on a level surface. Engage the parking brake and shut off the engine.

Clean the radiator core through grill area (1) in the cover. Use compressed air, high-pressure water, or steam to remove dust and other debris from the radiator core. However, the use of compressed air is preferred.Refer to Special Publication, SEBD0518, "Know Your Cooling System" for the complete procedure for cleaning the radiator core.
