Move the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
Fasten the seat belt.

Move steering column (2) to the desired position.
Move transmission control (1) into the NEUTRAL position.

The parking brake control is located to the right of the steering column.
Engage the parking brake.
Move all the control levers into the HOLD position.
Turn engine start switch (3) to the START position in order to start the engine. Release the engine start switch key after the engine starts.
Do not crank the engine for more than 30 seconds. Allow the starter to cool for two minutes before cranking again. Turbocharger damage can result if the engine rpm is not kept low until the oil gauge display verifies that the oil pressure is sufficient.
