Information:

Use the following procedure to release the air pressure in the air spring:

Connect a 24 volt power supply to two-pin connector (1). No. 1 connector pin is positive.Note: The air spring will completely deflate in approximately 60 seconds.
Pull out on air valve knob (2). While you pull out on the air valve knob, apply the 24 volt power supply for approximately 60 seconds.
Allow the air spring to deflate without any weight on the suspension.
Turn off the power supply when all the air has been released.
Remove boot (3) .

Loosen the setscrew on knob (2). Remove nut (5) and the lock washer.
Remove locknut (4) and the lock washer. Remove the upper shaft assembly.

Tilt upper housing (6) forward. Slide the upper housing out of scissor assembly (7) .

Disconnect two tether belts (11) from the scissor assembly. Remove two bearings (8) and two rollers (9) from the scissor assembly. Remove bushing (10) from the lower housing.

Remove locknut (12) and the lock washer. Remove the lower shaft from lower housing (13) .
Remove screw (14) from the air spring, which is not shown. Remove scissor assembly (7) from lower housing (13) .

Remove nut (17), pin (19), two bearings (15) and damper (16) from lower housing (13) .

Remove two tether belts (11), two rollers (21) and two bearings (20) from scissor assembly (7) .

Remove two bumpers (24). Remove bolt (25) and air spring (26). Use a small wrench to press fitting (23) while you pull tube (22) out of fitting (23) .

Put identification marks on two electrical connectors (29) for installation purposes. Disconnect two electrical connectors (29) and tube assembly (27) from combination valve (28) .

Remove tube (32) from fitting (33). Remove tie-wraps (31) from wiring harness (30). Remove clamps (35) and tie-wrap (34) from air compressor (36). Remove air compressor (36) .

Remove two bolts (39) and the washers. Remove locknut (37) and the washer. Remove bolt (40). Remove slider track (38) from upper housing (6) .
