Increased Braking Capacity
New piston motor groups provide increased braking capacity for the swing function. The new motor groups contain one more plate and one more friction disc than the former motor groups. The increase in braking capacity will aid in preventing swing drift while holding heavy loads on a slope.
New Cushion Crossover Relief Valves
A new piston motor group for the swing function utilizes cushion crossover relief valves. The former piston motor group contained anti-reaction valves. The new piston motor group provides increased response. It aids in preventing damage to the swing system components if a load is brought to an abrupt stop. The new piston motor group also prevents motor cavitation by returning the motor discharge oil to the inlet side of the motor when the swing control valve is returned to neutral as the machine is still in a swinging motion.
Adaptable To: The new 107-7022 Motor Group with increased braking capacity is a direct replacement for the former 105-7463 Motor Group in 322 (7WL), 322 L (8CL, 8ML, 9RL), 322 N (9JL), and 322 LN (4RM) Excavators. The new motor group is adaptable to those models. The new 114-0507 Piston Motor Group with the cushion crossover relief valve, plus the additional parts listed in the chart, directly replace for the former 107-7022 Piston Motor Group. The new piston motor group is effective with 322 L (8ML135-Up, 9RL890-Up), 322 N (9JL246-Up), and 322 LN (4RM105-Up) Excavators. It is adaptable to 322 (7WL), 322 L (8CL, 8ML1-134, 9RL1-889), 322 N (9JL1-245), and 322 LN (4RM1-104) Excavators.
The new 111-9989 Motor Group with increased braking capacity is a direct replacement for the former 105-7277 Motor Group. The new 111-9990 Motor Group with increased braking capacity is a direct replacement for the former 105-7278 Motor Group. These new motor groups are effective with 350 (7RK236-Up, 8HK148-Up, 2ZL168-Up) and 350 L (9DK139-Up, 3ML368-Up, 9FL150-Up) Excavators. The new motor groups are adaptable to the machines utilizing the former motor groups.

The new 111-9992 Motor Group with increased braking capacity is a direct replacement for the former 105-7276 Motor Group. These new motor groups are effective with 375 (8XG174-Up, 8WJ84-Up, 6NK95-Up), 375 L (9WL91, 1JM98-Up), and 5080 (6XK96-Up) Excavators. The new motor groups are adaptable to the machines utilizing the former motor groups.
