When the swing drive is pressurized in a test before assembly to the machine, the swing drive is tested with the swing motor at Aurora and Piracicaba. The pressure test reaches to the seal in the shaft of the swing motor. The test causes the seal lip to be turned outward and oil leaks from the seal.Solution
The pressure test procedure for the swing drive has changed for Auroraand Piracicaba. The test is done with a dummy block instead of a swing motor since the beginning of August.
