ADAPTER 5P7265 - Caterpillar

1. Raise the machine, and install Tooling (A) under the main frame as shown. 2. Attach lifting slings and a hoist to the tire and rim as shown.3. Remove ten bolts (1) and their washers from the rim.4. Remove the tire and rim from the wheel spindle. The weight of the tire and rim is 182 kg (400 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the rear tires and rims.5. Attach lifting slings and a hoist to the tire and rim.6. Position the tire and rim to the wheel spindle.7. Install ten bolts (1) and their washers in the rim. Ten bolts (1) must be tightened to a torque of 700 90 N m (515 66 lb ft).8. Remove the lifting slings. Raise the machine in order to remove Tooling (A). Lower the machine to the floor.
