Information:

Start By:a. remove front wheels 1. Remove the cotter pin from the steering tie rod pin.2. Loosen nut (2) until it is even with the bottom of the pin. Hit nut (2) with a hammer to loosen the pin from its taper.3. Move steering tie rod (3) free of wheel spindle housing (6).4. Remove the cotter pin from the steering cylinder pin.5. Loosen nut (4) with Tool (A).6. Loosen the pin from its taper. Move steering cylinder (5) free of wheel spindle housing (6).7. Remove the bolts and washers (1) and (7). 8. Fasten a hoist to wheel spindle housing (6).9. Remove the two pins that hold the wheel spindle housing to the wheel lean arm with Tooling (B).10. Remove the ring from the pin.11. Remove wheel spindle and wheel spindle housing (6). The weight of the wheel spindle and wheel spindle housing (6) is 104 Kg (230 lb). 12. Remove the seal and O-ring seal (9) from wheel spindle housing (6).13. Remove thrust packs (10), (11), and (12) from the upper part of the wheel lean arm (8). 14. Remove seal (16) from wheel lean arm (8).15. Remove two bearings (14) from wheel lean arm (8) with Tooling (C). The following steps are for the installation of the wheel spindle and wheel spindle housing. 16. Install bearings (14) in wheel lean arm (8) with Tooling (D). Install bearings (14) even with the surface that is toward the center of wheel lean arm (8).17. Install seal (16) in wheel lean arm (8), with Tool (C).
Tooling (D) must be used when installing the bearings to prevent causing damage.
18. Install the new O-ring seals and new seals (9) in wheel spindle housing (6).19. Fasten a hoist to wheel spindle housing (6). Put it in position on wheel lean arm (8).20. Install thrust pack (10), (11) and (12) between wheel spindle housing (6) and wheel lean arm (8) at the upper junction. 21. Lower the temperature of two pins (15) that hold wheel spindle housing (6) to wheel lean arm (8).22. Install pins (15) with Tool (E). Pins (15) are installed to dimension 2.0 0.5 mm (.078 .020 in) above the outside of wheel lean arm (8). 23. Install the bolts and washers (1) and (7) in pins (15).24. Put steering cylinder (5) in position in wheel spindle housing (6).25. Install nut (4) on the tapered pin. Tighten nut (4) to a torque of 200 N m (150 lb ft)using Tooling (F). Always tighten the nut to put the cotter groove (slot) in alignment with the hole in the pin. Install the cotter pin.26. Put steering tie rod (3) in position in wheel spindle housing (6).27. Install nut (2) on the tapered pin. Tighten nut (2) to a torque of 200 N m (150 lb ft)using Tooling (F). Always tighten the nut to put the cotter groove (slot) in alignment with the hole in the pin.
