1 6 6V-5696 Bolt Before Assembly, lubricate the threads and bearing surfaces with Loctite C5A copper Anti-Seize.
Use the following tightening procedure:
1. Tighten the bolts to 75 20 N m (55 15 lb ft).
2. Again, tighten the bolts to 100 20 N m (74 15 lb ft).
2 4 247-3393 Clamp As Before Assembly, lubricate the threads and bearing surfaces with Loctite C5A copper Anti-Seize.
Torque to 10 2 N m (89 18 lb in).
3 2 389-9659 Bellows As Ensure that the bellows are installed for proper flow direction as indicated on bellows by an arrow.
Ensure that the distance between the convolutions is uniform.
4 4 6V-5684 Bolt Before Assembly, lubricate the threads and bearing surfaces with Loctite C5A copper Anti-Seize.
Use the following tightening procedure:
1. Tighten the bolts to 75 20 N m (55 15 lb ft).
2. Again, tighten the bolts to 100 20 N m (74 15 lb ft).
5 5 6V-5842 Bolt Tighten the bolts to 60 12 N m (44 9 lb ft).
Again, tighten the bolts to 60 12 N m (44 9 lb ft).
6 41 8T-0643 Bolt Tighten the bolts to 60 12 N m (44 9 lb ft).
Again, tighten the bolts to 60 12 N m (44 9 lb ft).
7 - - Apply a continuous bead of ultra blue Loctite 587 to a thickness of 5 mm (0.2 inch) at four corners of the after cooler between surface (A) and surface (B). The silicone gasket is used to fill the open end of the seal groove.
