It is recommended, that REBE8803, Service Letter, "PRODUCT SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR REWORKING THE GEARBOX BRACKET ON CERTAIN 924K, 930K, AND 938K WHEEL LOADERS", be performed at the same time as this Rework Procedure.

MODELS INVOLVED - 924K, 930K, and 938K Wheel Loaders
Dear Cat Product Owner:
The air to air aftercooler (ATAAC) hoses need to be replaced on the products listed below. The existing hoses can fail. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Cat dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated 12Oct2012 when scheduling this service.
We regret the inconvenience this may cause you, but urge you to have this service performed as soon as possible to prevent unscheduled downtime.

Rework Procedure
1. Remove and discard the two existing 4N-6749 Hoses located in the 332-3641 Air Lines Group. Retain the 144-0367 Hose Clamps for later re-use in this Rework Procedure. Refer to Image1.1.1.

2. Install two new 4N-6749 Hoses with the 144-0367 Hose Clamps. Tighten the 144-0367 Hose Clamps to a specified torque of 11 +/- 1 N.m.
