Personal injury could result from the sudden movement of the blade when the centershift lockpin is released.Before releasing the centershift lockpin be sure that all personnel are clear of the blade area, the circle and blade are centered under the machine and the blade has been lowered to the ground.
Personal injury or death can occur from not following the proper procedure or the recommended tooling.To prevent the possibility of injury or death, follow the established procedure using the recommended tooling.
Bring the machine to a safety state by stopping the machine on a flat and stable surface, applying the parking brake, grounding all implements, and stopping the engine. Take precautions to prevent unintended motion.
Place left and right blade lift functions in float.

(1) Bolts
Remove bolts (1) and inspect (discard and replace damaged bolts).
Inspect the threaded holes. Clean and repair if damaged.

Install bolts (1) into threaded holes (2) to push out pin (3).
Inspect the threaded holes on frame. Clean and repair if damaged.
Start the machine, ensure that the blade lift functions are in float, and use the center shift function to move the link bar to desired position using pin positioning indicator.
Shut off the machine and insure the bores are aligned. If bores are not aligned restart machine and adjust link bar as necessary.
Insert pin without shims. Insert and tighten bolts until joint is snug-tight.

Measure and make note of the pin gap as shown in Illustration 3. If there is no gap and excessive linkage movement is noted, replace link bar bushing.Reference: Refer to Disassembly and Assembly , "Bushing Replacement"Note: Measure pin gap again once new bushing has been installed.
Remove pin, discard used bolts, then reinstall with new bolts and the appropriate number of shims.Note: Total shim pack thickness should be greater than or equal to the gap measured in previous Step 10.
Retain excess shims for future use.
Tighten the new bolts to 215 N m (159 lb ft).
