The PL1000E Communications ECM will require a custom wire harness in order to implement the appropriate connections that are associated with the PL1000E features.A prefabricated harness assembly is available. The harness will provide the connections for ground, power, key switch, CDL, J1939 and the Service Tool Port Group. Refer to the wiring that is shown in BOLD in the schematic that is shown in the "System Schematic" section of this document.Refer to Special Instruction, REHS2362, "Installation Guide for the PL1000E Communications ECM" for additional wiring harness information.
