Service switch (1) is located in the same compartment as the battery disconnect switch at the front left side of the machine.
SERVICE - With the engine off, move switch (1) upward in order to activate engine lockout mode. Engine lockout mode allows the operator to perform the quick evac procedure. Engine lockout mode will only be activated if the chassis ECM determines that the following conditions have been met:
The engine is off.
The transmission control lever in the cab is in NEUTRAL.
The parking brake is on.Once engine lockout mode is successfully enabled, indicator lamp (2) will illuminate. If engine lockout mode is not successfully enabled, the indicator lamp will flash and the function will not be activated.
OFF - Move switch (1) downward in order to exit the engine lockout mode. The following conditions must be met in order to disable the engine lockout mode:
The engine is off.
The transmission control must be in NEUTRAL.
The parking brake is on.Whenever the service switch is OFF, indicator lamp (2) will be OFF. The indicator lamp will not be illuminated, even when the engine lockout mode is not successfully disabled.
