Remove the transfer gears.
Remove the pump drives.

Attach Tooling (A), Tooling (B), Tooling (C), and a suitable lifting device to torque converter and housing (1). The weight of the torque converter and the housing is approximately 540 kg (1190 lb).
Position the torque converter and the housing onto suitable cribbing.

Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to torque converter (2). The weight of the torque converter (2) is approximately 318 kg (700 lb).
Remove bolts (4) and plate (3).
Remove torque converter (2).
