Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Clean the mating surfaces of the pump housing and the front housing.

Install a new O-ring seal (1) on auxiliary water pump (2). Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
Position auxiliary water pump (2) in the front housing. Slide bracket (4) into position on mounting studs (5).
Install washer (7) and bolts (3).
Install nuts (6).
Connect the hoses to auxiliary water pump (2).
Open the drain valve for the sea water circuit.
Connect the battery. Run the engine and check for leakage at the auxiliary water pump and at the hose connections. Check that water is being expelled from the exhaust pipe. Note: Do not run the auxiliary water pump in a dry condition. The impeller blades of the auxiliary water pump will be damaged.
