To resolve these plug leaks, remove each plug,fit a new 5K9090 o-ring to each of the 2062433 plugs, and install the newplugs. Torque each plug to 90 Nm. See Figure 1 for location of theplugs on machines equipped with Medium Pressure Function Valves (Group1). See Figure 2 for location of the plugs on machines equipped with HydraulicCab Riser Valves (Group 2).
Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic systems after the engineand pump have been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressureis not released before any service is done on the hydraulic systems. Toprevent possible injury, refer to the section, Testing and Adjusting, "HydraulicSystem Pressure - Release" before any fitting, hose or component is loosened,tightened, removed or adjusted.
When possible, the work tool must always be lowered to the ground beforeservice is started. When it is necessary for the boom to be in the raisedposition while tests or adjustments are done, be sure that the boom, stickand work tool have correct support.
