1. Open the coolant filler cap slowly to relieve any pressure.2. Inspect the condition of the cap gasket. Replace the cap gasket if damaged.3. Maintain the coolant above the low level plate.4. Inspect radiator for leaks or trash build-up.Hydraulic System
Check Oil Level
Hot oil can cause burns. At operating temperature, the hydraulic tank is hot and under pressure.Remove the fill cap ONLY when the engine is stopped, and the cap is cool enough to touch with your hand. Remove the fill cap slowly to relieve pressure.
Never remove the cap from the implement hydraulic tank if the oil is hot. Air can enter the system and cause pump damage.
The hydraulic oil tank is located on the right side of the machine.Maintain the oil level between the ADD and FULL marks in the sight gauge.Fuel System
Drain Moisture and Sediment
1. Open the drain valve and allow the moisture and sediment to drain.2. Close the drain valve.Check Fuel Level
Check fuel level daily. The tank should be full at the start of the shift.Indicators and Lights
Check for Proper Function
Start the engine and look for broken gauge lenses or lights, switches, etc.Back-Up Alarm
