(1) Left-hand grill assembly
(2) Right-hand grill assembly (not visible)
(3) Left-hand access door
(4) Fan/shroud/grill assembly
(5) Rear guard (if equipped)
(6) Rear guard latch (if equipped) Fan/shroud/grill assembly (4) and rear guard (5) (if equipped) can be swung open on this machine. This feature allows for increased access to the radiator core for cleaning.
Release the rear guard latch (6) on the left-hand side of rear guard (5) (if equipped). Swing the rear guard open.
Open left-hand access door (3) at the rear of the machine.
Two latches are made accessible when the left-hand access door is opened. These two latches secure fan/shroud/grill assembly (4) in the CLOSED position. Release these two latches.
Swing fan/shroud/grill assembly out from the left-hand side of the machine so that the rear of the radiator core is exposed. Note: The fan/shroud/grill assembly is allowed to swing outward from the CLOSED position to a maximum angle of approximately 60 degrees. Do not attempt to swing the assembly open further. Damage to machine components could result.
Open left-hand grill assembly (1) and right-hand grill assembly (2). Access to the front side of the radiator core is made available through these openings.

Use compressed air, high-pressure water, or steam to remove dust and other debris from the radiator core. However, the use of compressed air is preferred.
Close the left-hand grill assembly and the right-hand grill assembly.
Swing fan/shroud/grill assembly to the CLOSED position and secure in the CLOSED position with the latches that were released in step 3.
Close the left-hand access door.
Swing the rear guard (if equipped) to the CLOSED position and secure with the latch that was released in step 1. Reference: Refer to Special Publication, SEBD0518, "Know Your Cooling System" for the complete procedure for cleaning the radiator core.
