Engine stop circuit
The components of the engine stop circuit are the key start switch, the main power relay, and the Engine Electronic Control Module (Engine ECM).

(4) Engine ECM With the battery disconnect switch in the ON position, 24 V power is supplied from the batteries to circuit breaker 1 and circuit breaker 4. Circuit breaker 1 supplies 24 V power to Power Train/Chassis ECM (2) and key start switch (1). Circuit breaker 4 supplies 24 V power to Engine ECM (4).With key start switch (1) in the ON position, 24 V power is supplied from the batteries to circuit breaker 12 and circuit breaker 13. Circuit breaker 12 supplies 24 V power to Engine ECM (4). Circuit breaker 13 supplies 24 V power to Power Train/Chassis ECM (2).When key start switch (1) is turned to the OFF position, main power relay (2) is de-energized. 24 V power supplied to Engine ECM (4) will be interrupted, causing the engine to shut down.Reference: For more information on engine shutdown systems, refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, "Engine Monitoring".
