65 Tractors ( 7YC ) Equipped Three-Point HitchesChallenger 65 Tractors equipped with three-point hitches are shipped with the 3W7266 Blocks (lower sway blocks) installed. These blocks provide directional control for the implement in applications where straight line tracking of the tool, such as planting and listing, is desired.
When the tool is forced to track directly behind the tractor, it causes increased hitch and implement stresses. The tool also makes turning more difficult. For applications which do not require straight line tracking of the implement, remove the 3W7266 Blocks and store them on the tractor. This will reduce tool and hitch stresses and improve turning.
It is recommended that the dealer remove the lower sway blocks prior to delivery and let the customer install the blocks when they are needed.
