Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Put a thin layer of clean engine oil on all of the O-ring seals and the bores of each adapter.

Put new gaskets (2) in position and install aftercooler housing (1).

Install O-ring seals (3) on the aftercooler core (4).
Put a new gasket and aftercooler (4) into position in the aftercooler housing.

Put a new gasket and aftercooler cover (5) into position. Loosely install the washers and the bolts that hold aftercooler cover (5) in place.

Install a new gasket (6) and adapter (7) in the aftercooler cover.

Put O-ring seal (8) in position and install elbow (9) on the aftercooler cover.
Connect the water inlet tube to the auxiliary water pump.

Put a new gasket (10) and adapter (11) into position in the aftercooler housing.

Install O-ring seal (12) on tube assembly (13).
Install tube assembly (13) in the aftercooler housing.

Put gas pressure regulator (14) into position and fasten the gas pressure regulator to the aftercooler housing.
Fasten clip (15) to the aftercooler housing.

Connect tube assembly (17) to the boost control valve.
Fasten support (16) for tube assembly (17) to the aftercooler housing.
Tighten all of the bolts that hold the aftercooler cover in place to a torque of 25 7 N m (18 5 lb ft).
Connect the gas supply line to the gas pressure regulator. End By:
Install the carburetor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Carburetor - Install".
Install the instrument panel. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Instrument Panel - Remove and Install".
