Ensure that the assembly of front housing (9) and the nose of the crankshaft are clean and free from damage. Clean the gasket surface of plate (4).
Install Tooling (A) on the nose of the crankshaft.
Align pin (22) with Hole (X) in oil pump cover (19). Ensure that the oil pump cover is concentric to idler gear assembly (20).
Install a new gasket (17) to plate (21).
Guide the linkage for the fuel injection pump into position so that the link is free to move inside the aperture on the cylinder block. Align front housing (9) to the dowels in plate (21). Install front housing (9) to plate (21).
Install bolts (10), bolts (18), and nuts (12) hand tight.
Position bracket (14) and install bolts (15) hand tight.
Tighten bolts (10), bolts (18), nuts (12), and bolts (15) to a torque of 10 N m (89 lb in).
Remove Tooling (A) from the nose of the crankshaft.
Install new cable straps (13). Note: Ensure that the cable straps meet the Original Equipment Manufactures (OEM) specifications.
Install secondary engine speed timing sensor (11) to housing (16). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Primary Engine Speed/Timing Sensor - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
Install secondary engine speed timing sensor (11) to housing (9). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Secondary Engine Speed/Timing Sensor - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.

If necessary, install a new O-ring seal (8) (not shown) to Power Take Off (PTO) adapter (7).
If necessary, install Power Take Off (PTO) adapter (7).
Install a new O-ring seal (6) (not shown) to the housing.
Install bolts (2) to blanking plate (4). Install the blanking plate to the housing.
Install a new O-ring seal (5) (not shown).
Install blanking plate (3).
Install nuts (1) to bolts (2). Hand tighten the nuts and the bolts.
Ensure that blanking plate (3), blanking plate (4) and Power Take Off (PTO) adapter (7) are correctly seated onto the housing.
Tighten nuts (3) and bolts (2) to a torque of 50 N m (37 lb ft).
If necessary, install hydraulic pump from the front housing refer to the (OEM) for the correct installation procedure. End By:
Install the crankshaft pulley. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankshaft Pulley - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
Install the fuel injection pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Injection Pump - Install" for the correct procedure.

Install Tooling (A) on the nose of the crankshaft.
Align pin (22) with Hole (X) in oil pump cover (19). Ensure that the oil pump cover is concentric to idler gear assembly (20).
Install a new gasket (17) to plate (21).

Install bolts (10), bolts (18), and nuts (12) hand tight.

Tighten bolts (10), bolts (18), nuts (12), and bolts (15) to a torque of 10 N m (89 lb in).
Remove Tooling (A) from the nose of the crankshaft.
Install new cable straps (13). Note: Ensure that the cable straps meet the Original Equipment Manufactures (OEM) specifications.
Install secondary engine speed timing sensor (11) to housing (16). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Primary Engine Speed/Timing Sensor - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.

If necessary, install a new O-ring seal (8) (not shown) to Power Take Off (PTO) adapter (7).
If necessary, install Power Take Off (PTO) adapter (7).
Install a new O-ring seal (6) (not shown) to the housing.
Install bolts (2) to blanking plate (4). Install the blanking plate to the housing.
Install a new O-ring seal (5) (not shown).
Install blanking plate (3).
Install nuts (1) to bolts (2). Hand tighten the nuts and the bolts.
Ensure that blanking plate (3), blanking plate (4) and Power Take Off (PTO) adapter (7) are correctly seated onto the housing.
Tighten nuts (3) and bolts (2) to a torque of 50 N m (37 lb ft).
If necessary, install hydraulic pump from the front housing refer to the (OEM) for the correct installation procedure. End By:
Install the crankshaft pulley. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankshaft Pulley - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
Install the fuel injection pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Injection Pump - Install" for the correct procedure.
