At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the fill plug only when the engine is stopped and when the fill plug is cool enough to touch with your bare hands.
Identify all hydraulic lines as they are removed for reinstallation purposes. Cap and plug all lines and fittings to prevent any contaminants from entering the hydraulic system. 1. Remove four bolts and washers (1) and cover (2). Remove two bolts and washers (4) and cover (3). 2. Remove two bolts, nuts and washers (5). Lift up on steering wheel (6) to disengage spline (7). Remove four hoses (8) and four bolts and washers (9) to remove hand metering unit (10). To install hand metering unit, reverse the removal steps.
