Before the exhaust temperature module can be used, the ETM must be configured for the installation. Most of the parameters can be programmed with the scanner's keypad. Other parameters are programmed at the factory.Note: When the configuration of the scanner is determined, record the information. Refer to the Testing and Adjusting, "Worksheet".Table 1 lists the configuration parameters that are programmable with the keypad.
