A 1U-6396 O-Ring Assembly Compound 1 Note: O-rings, gaskets, and seals should always be replaced. A used O-ring may not have the same sealing properties as a new O-ring. A reconditioning procedure should not be degraded because of a low cost component such as an O-ring or a gasket. Use Tooling (A) during the assembly procedure.
Clean the check valve, and clean the area around the check valve prior to installing the check valve.

Install elbow (13), and install bolts (11). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 50 10 N m (37 7 lb ft).
Install a new O-ring seal in the check valve. Install check valve (9) and install bolts (7).
Tighten hose clamp (12).
Connect hose assemblies (6) and (10) to the check valve. Tighten the bolts for each hose assemblies to a torque of 30 7 N m (22 5 lb ft).
Connect hose assembly (8) to the check valve. Tighten the elbow to a torque of 150 15 N m (111 11 lb ft). Tighten the hose to a torque of 150 15 N m (111 11 lb ft).

Install sheet (5). Slide hose clamps (3) over air hose (4) and install the air hose. Position hose clamps (3) and tighten the hose clamps.

Install engine hood (1) and install hood cover (2).
Fill the hydraulic system with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)" and Operation and maintenance Manual, "Lubricatant Viscosities".
