Removal Procedure

Disconnect hose assembly (1). Remove cover (2).

Attach a suitable lifting device to cylinder (3). The weight of cylinder (3) is approximately 862 kg (1900 lb). Position suitable cribbing under cylinder (3). Attach a suitable lifting device to pin assembly (4) the weight of pin assembly (4) is approximately 43 kg (95 lb). Remove pin assembly (4) and lower cylinder (3) on to suitable cribbing.

Remove bolt (5) and the spacer. Remove harness assembly (7) and plate assembly (6).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to guard (9). The weight of guard (9) is approximately 39 kg (85 lb). Remove bolts (8) spacers and guard (9).

Remove bolts (10) the spacers and the position control assembly (11).

Remove cover (12). Disconnect hose assemblies (13).

Attach a suitable lifting device to lever (14). The weight of lever (14) is approximately 1361 kg (3000 lb).

Position Tooling (B). Attach a suitable lifting device to pin (15). The weight of pin (15) is approximately 43 kg (95 lb). Remove pin (15).

Remove cover (16).

Attach a suitable lifting device to pin (17). The weight of pin (17) is approximately 41 kg (90 lb). Remove pin (17).

Remove lever (14).

Remove bearing sleeves (18). Installation Procedure
Install lever (14) in the reverse order of removal.
