Note: Check the condition of the O-ring seals that are used in the ends of the hose assemblies and the ends of the tube assemblies for the main control valve. If any of the seals are damaged, use new parts for replacement.Note: During the installation of the main control valve, make sure that all hose assemblies, tube assemblies, and electrical connectors are installed in the original locations on the main control valve.

Fasten Tool (A) and a hoist to main control valve (16), as shown.
Carefully install main control valve (16) to the machine. The weight of the main control valve is 454 kg (1000 lb).
Install the washers and four bolts that hold the main control valve in position in the machine.

Connect five small hose assemblies (15) to the back side of the main control valve.
Connect two large hose assemblies (14) to the back side of the main control valve.

Install the washers and four bolts (13) to slow return check valve (12) .
Connect two hose assemblies (11) to the lower right side of the main control valve.

Connect 15 tube assemblies (10) to the front side of the main control valve.

Connect hose assembly (9) to each side of the main control valve.
Connect eight hose assemblies (8) to the top side of the main control valve.
Connect two electrical connectors (7) to the main control valve.
Connect ten hose assemblies (6) to the top rear side of the main control valve.

Connect 13 hose assemblies (5) to the bottom side of the main control valve.Note: Some hose assemblies and tube assemblies which are connected to the main control valve contain loose components. These components can be lost during removal and installation of the main control valve. Use care when you connect hose assemblies and tube assemblies to the main control valve.Note: For the specific torque values for all the hose assemblies and all the tube assemblies that connect to the main control valve, refer to the Specifications manual.

Install cover plate (4), the washers, and six bolts (3) to the main control valve.

Install cover plate (2), the washers, and four bolts (1) to the main control valve.
Fill the hydraulic oil tank with oil to the correct level.Reference: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities" for the proper oil viscosity.Reference: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities" for the correct amount.Reference: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check" for the proper filling procedure.
Start the engine, and check the operation of all implements, the swing function and the travel function. Check all of the hose connections and all of the tube connections on the main control valve for leaks.
